The only bad thing about vacation? You have to go back BOOOOO! Not that I feel like I have been gone. It seems I got a few days peace then for the past 5 I have spoken with someone from work everyday. Next time I am going away where the phone doesn't work.

So a few things...........Whore weekend was totally ABFAB! Kristi got in Thursday, DD got in Friday morning. I took the girls to DC for the day. Oh and what a day it was. It was super hot. All in all I think the girls had fun. A couple random pics from Friday.....

Cathy got in Friday night and we all got a good nights rest to go hit the expo Saturday morning. We seriously shopped till we dropped. We hit the Expo, 2 scrap stores, Walmart and AC Moore. We were hella exhausted. I was proud to say I spent the least. GO me! We got hella supplies at the expo I just couldn't get over how cheap stuff was! We had lunch at Red Robin and of course made Kelly and Sandy balloons cuz we missed our boos.

of course cannot forget DD's video apperance........I giggle everytime I watch it.

We stayed up till way too late scrappin Saturday night. I think Cathy may have even gotten up hella early and started again LOL. We had fun taking some last minute pics with all the girls. We also got some fun polaroids. Which of course I scrapped

We took Kristi to downtown Baltimore Sunday night for her last day in the city. We had a great dinner and got some good shots of the bay. Of course......nothing beats her prom pic with my hubs....

The rest of my week has been filled with sleep and scrapping. Bill and I went out last night and I got TRASHED omg it was so crazy. I had not drank like that in a long time. What was more rad it was the middle of the afternoon so I felt pretty good this morning LOL! I also found out this week that I once again made the CT spotlight over at A Cherry On Top and I won a gift card to their store for a contest I entered a LO for. Pretty cool fo sho! Yano I don't usually say anything of importance on my blog, but today..I feel the need. My husband and I watch Pardon the Interruption on ESPN. The discussion today had a lot to do with racism. 3 topics actually......

Imus-basically saying on his show today that a NFL player was arrested numerous times because he was black. I don't know if it was taken out of context or not. Who knows considering Imus's history with racial remarks. PTI anchors Tony and Mike went back and forth about what he meant yadda yadda. I guess each in the end were not condoning what he said. From what I saw.

Johnny Miller- NBC PGA golf Analyst made a comment on the US OPEN about how Rocco Mediate looks like he could be the pool cleaning guy at Tiger's house. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what he meant. Both anchors had no *clue* what he would mean by that. REALLY? I did, and I am not the smartest person in this world.

Last but not least, Shaq-Really....This was by far the most foul thing they discussed today. Shaq rapping about Kobi among other shit. Basically they came to the conclusion "it's Shaq, he's funny, everyone likes Shaq"

After each segment a commercial came on from Red Stripe. Yano that's their sponsor. Guess what commercial it was?

Does this seem hella hypocritical or is it just me?

Oh so.....it gets even better. I stick around to watch Sports Center. They played the entire Shaq video. I myself don't like Shaq or Kobi for that matter, and I used to be a Lakers fan. But this video makes me like him even less. My husband disagrees that this is racist. Maybe so. It was the cherry on my sundae (Props to Trudy).

I guess I don't understand how a show can sit and discuss racism and how its BAD and people don't think etc etc etc. Then play a commercial like 6 times at the end of every segment. Sorry this hit a nerve today for me. I even e-mailed PTI I was THAT pissed.

Ok I don't know if today could get any better!

1. Let me just start off and say I worked from home today. I don't do that often, but it really feels good sometimes to work in my PJ's!

2. My Nextel isn't working. BUHAHAHA. Which means no work calls are coming in. Hilarious if you knew how much my phone rang.

3. Bill came home at 12:30! I was like woah, wth! Nice though for sure, we are going shopping later and then to the pool to hang with his brothers.

4. SIS is having a online partayyy all weekend for those who cannot make it to their event in TN this weekend. WOOT! I am all ovah it.

5. Bill and Tori are off to Philly this weekend for a LAX tournament. Which means me......alone with number 6!

Lastly.....

6. I got, count them, 4 boxes of SCRAPPY GOODNESS! I almost cried. So sad I know, but dude...it's all so cute!

Moving right along aren't I? Well it's been another fun weekend in the Chesnick house. Friday night Bill and I hung out on the stoop with our neighbors drinking and carryin on. I really heart our neighbors. We live in an interesting area and we just couldn't have asked for better folks next door! Saturday it hit a record high of 103 here with 85% humidity. OUCH! It's definitely not this hot here...in June anyway! It felt like August! We braved it though and headed out to the In-laws to hang out and watch the Belmont. My horse came in 2nd. WOOT to me! Am I the only person who thought it was funny that Big Brown didn't win? I mean seriously....the pump up was a set up for the fail GADS! Pop's wanted a picture of Libby by his fountain and flowers. Why you say? I have no idea.....it's Pop he gets whatever he wants.

Before we left I helped my MIL hang her pictures back up on her wall. She re-did her whole living room. It came out sooo good, I forgot to take pics!

So it's Sunday and I slept wayyyyyyyyyy late, like 2 o'clock late. My PCOS is wreaking havoc on me lately and I am dying to go to the doctor. 30 days till that happens! OY! We did however get the hallway floors sanded and Bill plans on staining them on Tuesday. So that only leaves me with painting the hall and livingroom before the whores come. Oh and he has to hang the doors. Otherwise they will have to shower etc with no door. Good for him, not for us!

I had no idea the amount of people who read my blog until I stopped posting for a month. Tons of family and friends who don't leave comments! LOL So life has been crazy per the usual. I have no time it seems and the time I do have it's like I am cramming everything I can into it.

Memorial weekend was Bill's birthday. So we road tripped up to Lancaster, PA to hang with the Amish. It was hella cool. We had such a good time. I am a travlin fool so it felt good just to get in the car and go and have no plan. So on Sunday we decided to go check out Fort Smallwood Park. It's a park on the bay where we live that was re-habbed. We took the dogs. They had such a good time. We came home and had a lil ghetto fab throw down with the neighbors it was quite fun.

We've been re-doing our floors slowly but surely. We moved our bedroom down into the basement for more room. I thought I wouldn't really like it, but I do! Plus I got to have that room as a new scraproom, WOOT! I am seriously in love with space! My homies Kristi, Deah and Cathy are coming in June for the GASC in Washington DC. So we will have a nice new space to scrap in, yay! Pic's to come on this one when it's done.

Happy National Scrap booking Day everyone! Tori and I tore apart my new scrap room today. We painted and pulled up carpet. My hopes it that Bill re-finishes the hardwood while I am in State College this week. I am so excited to have more SPACE! My room is getting hella cramped.

So since it was NSD Tori and I scrapped last night. She made some Mothers Days gifts and I did these babies.

The challenge is almost over at Say it in Scrap. Kristi asked me to DT this month. Here's a little sneaky sneak.

So I am back from Vegas and sad to say I have no pics as of yet. My took my point and shoot camera and didn't realize that the memory card I had in it was the wrong kind, so it didn't work! As soon as I get pics from the Whores I'll post some of those. Anyhow it's good to be home! My ass still hurts from sitting so long in the meetings. I am really still not use to all the meetings we have! I am home for one week and then off to State College, PA for regional meetings.

So on with my reason for this blog today! I had gotten some Actions for Photo shop
before I left and I wanted to share some before and afters. I love making my own looks, but I also really like actions because they are much easier and a lot quicker. So here are a few. The ones I am using on these photos can be found Right Here!

So actions are fairly simple to load, just like brushes. Depending on which version of PS you have there are some default actions already there. So play with them! Oh and all these pics my Mom took in Annapolis last year. She is likely to stab me if I don't give her a shout out! LOL

Tomorrow at 5 a.m. EST I am off to the airport! Yay me, NOT! Oy I hate getting up that early. I'm flying to Vegas for the week for work. I am sneaking in some not so work while I there as well. My whores Kelly and Kristi are picking me up at the airport to spend exactly 4.5 hours with me before I have to check in to the hotel umm holla Bellagio. I am so looking forward to seeing all of my co-workers from around the country. Many I haven't seen in AGES. So be prepared for pics and much scrapping once I get home! Not marriage-ending ones, just small secrets we choose to hide from others. If we don't want to speak our age or share our true hair color or reveal the cheesy TV shows we watch in private, it's not your place to reveal them to our friends, your business partners, or your ex-girlfriends/wives. We have the right to clean air.
You may think it's funny, masculine, or natural to pass gas anywhere and anytime you please, but when the smell drives us to gag, it's uncool. There is something inherently wrong in the relationship if you must walk over to us and fart, or if you intentionally set a bad example for the kids. We fart too, but we do so discreetly for a reason. You may not like our potpourri and scented candles, but they're infinitely better than toxic and flammable methane.

We have the right to keep and bear tons of girly bathroom products.
You have your tools; so do we. These items are expensive and to be used sparingly. It brings no joy to see our $15 bath bar shrunk down to the size of a quarter after two passes on your chest and legs.

We have the right to speak to our girlfriends every day.
About whatever we want, whenever we want. Please don't eavesdrop or criticize. We know you're not that interested in gossip or psycho-analytical interpretations of why some people do what they do, so we turn to our like-minded female friends for instant gratification. We have the right to flirt.
Not the kind that makes you jealous, but the healthy practice of connecting with another person on a non-sexual level. Light banter is fun, quick-witted, and encouraging to our self esteem. We have the right to foreplay.

We have the right to go out with our friends at least once a month.
A man's relationship with his buddies is a bond that should never be broken. It helps keep us feeling young, connected and sane. It also helps us break the routine just like nights with the girls do for you. Even as we reach middle age, we like the fact that we still have a "crew."
Amendment II
We reserve the right to dislike your friend's husbands.
We promise to give the guy a fair shot, but when he starts acting like a moron, we can no longer authorize events with that family. And yes, wives have the same freedom to blackball when the tables are turned. It doesn't mean we like your friend any less, it just means that in her haste to have a big, fancy wedding, she chose a jackass that we don't want to spend our rare time off with. Listening to stories about how "wicked" he was on the French horn in his bitchin' ‘80s band is just too much.
Amendment III
We have the right to have a few things of ours in the house.
Everything we hold near and dear to us shouldn't all be in the garage. While we understand that our framed KISS concert poster might not make it on the living room wall, at least throw us a bone. The scene in "Juno" where Jason Bateman realized that everything he held near and dear was in a 200-square-foot room was a gut-shot to us all.
Amendment IV
We have the right not to be scolded by you.
We are your husbands, not your children. We don't mean to track dirt onto the carpet or get chips on the couch, but it's not like we just got a lap dance. Don't treat us like your children and we'll do our best not to act like them.
Amendment V
We have the right to teach our sons how to burp and fart.
Sharing bodily functions with our offspring is as much about life as it is about jokes. It's also something that can help brings kids and dads together. Believe me, kids and guys always laugh at farts—that's how we're wired. And we're not talking about being totally gross and inappropriate. We vow to teach them that there is a time and a place for behavior like this—and that the early service at Church is not one of them.
Amendment VI
We have the right to teach our children how to defend themselves.
Fighting is barbaric, terrible, and scary. But it's also part of growing up. We want our kids to be able to get out of a bad situation, not be bullied, and be able to take care of themselves. One of the plus sides of learning how to take care of yourself is that the more you know, the less you have to use it. Teaching our offspring how to defend themselves in a scary world is one of the basic duties of a father.
Amendment VII
We have the right to as much reading material in the bathroom as we need.
Sometimes we're in there a while, we can't help it. And no, we're not hiding … most of the time.
Amendment VIII
We have the right to watch the big game.
We care too much about our teams. We know it's not rational, but it's who we are. No one can explain the love men have for their teams, but you may as well embrace it because that love will not die. If you don't believe this, just remember the Boston Red Sox had the most loyal fans in sports and didn't win a World Series for 86 years.
Amendment IX
We have the right to the remote when we're on the couch.
This is something that's in our DNA. We know it, and you know it. If there's any doubt, watch us surf at top speed while knowing if a show is worth watching after stopping on it for .2 seconds. It's a thing of beauty.
Amendment X
We have the right to still use chivalry.
Yes … we know women are strong and independent, and we dig that. But allow us to open the door for you, or give up a seat and act like a gentleman once in a while. The world will be a better place because of it.

time is on my side

6 days till I leave for Vegas and meet up with my whores! I mean yeah I'll be there for work, but how bad can work be when you are in Vegas?! Then I come back only to turn around and go to State College, PA for regional meetings. Aparently where we will be is in the middle of no where. All of us girls are getting massages and having a cocktail/robe hour while the boys golf.

For real. It's only Wednesday and I am already OVER IT. Two more days and Trudy will be back and then I can go back to being the boss of only oh 50 people. I've been in Washington DC the past two days. I really detest driving down in the city. I don't mind the freeway even if it's backed up and clogged. At least you know you are all going the same way (for the most part lol) In DC there are number streets, letter streets, state streets and other wackie streets. They say there is a system to it all. Mine is called GPS and that sometimes doesn't work. Although I realized today that all State Streets mean freedom! So when in doubt pick a state and you'll be out.

I had a chance today to go catch one of Tori's LAX games. I took some great pics and I'll post those soonish. When I am not tired! lol

I had the pleasure of being in New Jersey all week for training. Work training/meetings always drains the life out of me for sure. I did however get some AWESOME news while I was there! 100 random things you might not know about me.

1. I married my favorite nerd ever.

2. I never thought I would be a step-mom. I hate that word, I am a bonus parent.

3. I heart mayo.

4. I have to have a pair of tweezers with me at all times, if not I freak out.

5. I would love to go on Survivor. I would kick ass. However because of number 4, I wouldn’t make it lol

6. I’m not a super picky person, I think anyway. Don’t ask my husband.

7. I’m adopted, sort of.

8. I sleep with an eye mask. I will have a full on panic attack if I can’t find it.

9. I detest doing dishes, but I don’t want a dishwasher because that’s just plain lazy.

10. I am a recycling freak.

11. I’m also a lunatic about wasting. My husband probably thinks I’m crazy, but I’m laughing when I get the electric bill and it’s a lot less then the neighbors!

12. I have this bad habit of picking at my dry skin on my fingers. For years I’ve had fake nails just so I won’t do it.

13. Getting my wisdom teeth pulled at the age of 31 is the closest thing to surgery I’ve ever had.

14. Hospital’s freak me the hell out and they smell weird. I call it death.

15. I’m scared I’ll be a bad Mom because I won’t be the parent who can hold your hair while you puke.

16. And because I am lazy and don’t like cooking.

17. I hate when people say “uh?” even though you know they heard you.

18. Incompetence drives me insane.

19. Dude is probably my favorite word.

20. Douche bag is my favorite name to call someone lol I do save it for special occasions though.

21. I’ve been to a therapist 2 times in my life. The first time I realized I needed to get divorced the 2nd I realized I wasn’t the crazy one.

22. I miss my therapist most days.

23. I have PCOS (Google it) I’m reminded of it daily.

24. Twins run in my husbands family on the Maternal side. My luck Bill will have that “wacky” gene.

25. I believe in God, I just don’t believe what the Bible says about him.

26. I wish there were a suggestions box for the government.

27. I’ve always wanted to be a brunette with hips. No such luck.

28. Sometimes I wish I just had a “normal” family. Then I feel guilty for thinking that.

29. I quit smoking last Labor Day. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss it.

30. I realized a few weeks ago why I never took a promotion. I didn’t want to let ____ down. I realized that blank has always been empty. I’m glad I took one now.

31. I can’t have tons of friends. It takes too much energy.

32. I don’t really like chocolate. No really.

33. I wanted to be a interior designer when I grew up.

34. I am super impatient. I also tend to think most people are not smart. Only adding to my impatience.

35. For some reason I cannot keep indoor plants alive. No matter what I do they all commit suicide.

36. I really don’t enjoy going to the movies. Even when I was young. I only went because there was really nothing else for teenagers to do.

37. Years ago my roommates and I thought it would be fun to join one of those Phone Dating things. We would get drunk on Fridays and put it on speaker and laugh our asses off listening to the messages.

38. Same time frame, we would play UNO till the wee hours of the morning. It was almost like contact uno it was so brutal.

39. I’ve smoked weed before. Some of the funniest stories I can remember are from when I was high. Mostly because I was an idiot.

40. I’m so glad I am in my 30’s. It makes me feel like it’s ok to not give a shit what people think anymore.

41. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Mostly because it involves sweet potatoes, family, pie, football and naps.

42. I miss California. The weather anyway.

43. I feel like my job is my “other” spouse.

44. I don’t ever wish I had gone to college. I really am finding that the studies are right. A students really do usually working for C students.

45. I’m glad I grew up in a small town. I don’t really like the city I am currently in. Thankfully I know it’s not forever.

46. I love doing simple things for people that remind them that I remember most every odd and quirky thing they tell me.

47. I remember way too much shit.

Yeah, really...that's how I feel right now. I mean WTF!? This new job is totally kicking my ass. Some days I think I am kicking my own ASS! I guess I didn't realize what a change I was in for. I went from selling machine to managing mess. Mess isn't even the right word for what/who I am dealing with. Hats off to all my former managers. I need to take a class on how to deal with "challenged" people.

So other than work I haven't done a god damn thing in weeks. It's sad. I've been getting home so late that I end up just falling asleep. I know LAME. I can hear my brother laughing now and calling me old. whatever! I did however get two, count um, two LO's done in the past two nights. A few from a couple weeks ago, yes I said weeks. Someone please stab me.

ugh I haven't blogged in what, a minute? I've had a few things happen in the past week or so. Well...I got promoted, hooray! I've been juggling trying to train and do my current job. It's been a long week. At the end of it, I got sick...yes sick AGAIN. I don't know what's going on with my body but it's worrying me. Anyhow, scrappy buisness. I finished my 50 LO's of my stash diet. I shopped today! I actually had a hard time shopping. I know SHOCKER! I just was being picky. Doing this whole stash diet thing made me realize the crap I don't use. So I shopped and spent $105. Now I am starting over. I think Cathy is the only one with me so far doing another 50 LO's. I'll take pics of my goodies later when I feel better.

Today Bill Tori and I went on a Baltimore adventure. We went and visited Poe's grave. The cemetery was old and creepy yet cool.

We were freezing our asses off (Thanks for the idea Dad) so we motored down to Fells Point to hang out. I took some pretty neat pics. We had lunch at Duda's Tavern. It was soooo good! I drank a couple pints and that's why I am up so late. I promtly came home and feel asleep at 6pm lol!

So I am still not feeling well. Last night Bill and I ordered up some take out and watched The Bourne Ultimatum. I love that series and from the looks of it there might even be another. Otherwise they just wanted to leave you hanging for the rest of your life. In talking about that movie Bill said that there will be a Pirates 4 coming out in 2009. The word is they will not be picking up where 3 left off. I really hate when they do that!

Today, again I felt like ick so I declinded to go to Tori's soccer tournament. I don;t get how they play 6 games in two days. That's 3 hours of non-stop running for two days. BOOO. So I cleaned and made the mini coaster album below. My good friend Shayna is working tonight at a little bar/resturant in Canton. We are going to go cruise over and see her and get out of the house before the snow pumels us tonight.

Tomorrow is game day. We will see if my boys pull off the upset. I doubt they will but here is to hoping!

So I finally joined Cathy's stash diet. Here's the rules straight from her post.

So I was browsing blogs this morning and came upon this fabulous idea which I'm totally going to take on. It's called a Stash Diet. The rules are below. This is a great way to save money, get rid of old stuff (you know the stuff we say we will never use again). It's true what the blogger said when she said that if my kids look at the LO's when they are older they are not going to say "Oh this is when my mom used all that old stuff to make these Lo's" They don't care what products or when the product was made just that there is something made of that memory. I love this idea and I hope that all of you join in with me and do this. It will be quite a journey to get out all that Stack paper and use it up. This time no saving of the scraps lol.

...the rules are as follows.
1. Create 50 layouts using only products, tools, and supplies we have on hand.
2. Cardstock and adhesive can be purchased when needed. Who can make many pages with no adhesive?
3. Gift certificates, RAK's, DT kits are not included -those can be used.
4. Larger altered projects count as 1 layout.

Brothers dinner was a success! Everyone had a great time. I didn't realize how small my house was until I had everyone over. LOL I'll be sure of my limits if and when we throw a party! The kids and the boys played Wii until they were exhausted. We also did a Yankee swap gift exchange. That was hilarious! I got a nice Yankee Candle gift set from Tabby.

Saturday I hung out with my cousin-in-law LOL Deb. We went to a stamp camp that she frequents every month. I had a good time and got to make some cool stuff. I'm not a huge card maker but I can definitely take some of the ideas and apply them to my LO's and as well as keep them in mind when I do make cards. Thanks for the invite Deb, I'm looking forward to next time!

We were supposed to be going to see my BFF this weekend. The weather has really been crazy this week and we ended up not being able to go. It snowed a bit this afternoon and now it's freezing rain with a 50% chance of snow today and tomorrow. Hooray! I am really bummed. I miss you Ginger!

I ended up doing a LO tonight. I have so much Christmas stuff still to make, but I was going through DT's like most of my scrappy friends. I've been wanting to do this picture for awhile now. For real, snow. It seriously put me in a bad mood all day! It's not so much I hate the snow as I hate the drivers in snow. If you know me at all you know all I do is drive all damn day. So it was a bit stressful. Since I've been home it has gotten worse! I hadn't realized that we had so much (and it is much for here) Bill went out to walk the dogs and I took some pics. I am very bummed now that Bill and I went and cut down our tree. Tori didn't want to unless it snowed, and we went anyway because it never snows! To have it snow this early is crazy! Pics below.

So anyhow, many many pics to post. First the tree from hell. Seriously now, this thing is the devil. I mean it's pretty and all, and Bill was oh so happy that I gave in and went to cut down a fresh tree, but dude! I wanted a Blue Spruce. Nice, pretty, soft needles, smells nice etc. This thing, which I thought was a spruce, actually it is a spruce a spawn of one, is so not that. First off the trunk was so small that we had to rig it to get it to stand up. This is not much a surprise in my life, I almost expect it. The needles, ouch ouch and flipping OUCH! Bill and I have stab marks all over our arms, hands, face. To the point I finally put gloves on. To top it all off, it doesn't smell. You wouldn't even know I had a tree in the house believe it or. And that my friends really pisses me off. Pic's are posted below ;)

We went to see Jake dance in the Nutcracker this past weekend. He was one of only a few freshman at his dance school to make it. Unfortunately we couldn't take pics while they were performing, but I did get some really cool shots of the building. Very old and very cool! Random photo's of Baltimore included.

Last but not least. Tori and I made monograms for our stockings last night. We always get them confused because they are hand made by a friend of mine and look way too much alike. So they now are tagged! They came out really cute.

It's back to work we go! It sucks, but it must be done *sigh* I have been a decorating mad woman. We are waiting for a few things to ship to us and then I will take pics for everyone to see. It is sooo much fun and feels awesome to be having Christmas in my first "house" and of course first year being married. Tori is going to love it!

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went to Patty and Kevin's house for a Pre-Thanksgiving drink or two or three. Then off to Lisa and Mark's for dinner. I made sweet potatoes for the first time, and thanks to Dave's help they came out wonderful! I may make them this week. That and the cream corn I've been putting off. Hope all is well blog friends.

It's late and I've been running around the house doing all kinds of stuff and scrapin on the side of course ;) I couldn't just leave the Tree alone! I got some spray glitter today and gave it a dose. It looks "finished" now. I also made a mini tree to go with it on my table! It's all so flippin cute. I also finished up some of my ornaments which were awaiting bows and some more glitter.

I am looking forward to tomorrow. I think this is the first year since being away from California and my family that I won't be so homesick. It still, after six years, feels weird not to be driving up to Big Bear and having a good ole time with my fam. Anyhow, I am bring the sweet potatoes and ambrosia! Which I realized today is something totally different depending on where you live lol! Mine is cool whip, fruit and marshmallows yummy. So I hope all of you have a wonderful day tomorrow with your friends and family. Eat lots and nap much ;)

I hurt my back last week at work and have been in some pain the past few days. So bad that I called out from work Friday. I felt so bad, I hate feeling like that!

Anyhow, today I finally got out of bed and decided to finish up my book from the Marah Johnson class last weekend. I really like how it came out. Also we went and saw Dane Cook last night in D.C. Holy cow was he awesome! There is nothing but a few beers and some laughing to make you forget you can barely walk! We also had awesome seats. We were in the 3rd row, Bill and I both got to shake his hand awww...geeks I know! What's even more lame is Bill wouldn't let me bring the camera, he said we wouldn't be able to use it. Well guess what, WRONG! We were so close too! Man I was pissed!

Last week was a scrappin week! Damn I did a lot. I did 5 LO's, 7 ornaments, 1 centerpiece and a album. I won't say it's mini because it's not! All the LO's I've already posted so onto the good stuff.

Thursday I went to my very first class. We made ornaments. It was super fun and I learned some new techniques I didn't know before. I ended up buying more and doing some myself when I got home.

Saturday I had my class with Marah Johnson. I tell you what if you ever have a chance to take a class with her, do! She is super fun and very talented. I really enjoyed the class. I am not done with the project as of yet. I tend to not keep things for myself, but this one is all mine. So here's a couple pics from class and the book. Thanks Marah!

Last but not least...My Chargers won! Not gracefully and were so flippin lucky, but a win is a win. I also just realized I forgot to post halloween pics, so here ya go!

I know, I know. I feel so behind when I don't blog for a week. Some highlights of the past week-ish.

*Went back to work last Monday. I was totally out of it all week! I thought it would be nice to be off for two weeks straight, but it sucks. Going back it's harder then after one week. Probably won't be doing it again. When I got back I found out that our company is changing the vacation amounts for everyone. I now get 6 weeks of vacation instead of 4! How flipping sweet is that!?

*Tuesday night Bill and I took a short jaunt to DC to meet fellow Whore MJ and her BF Dan. We had a super time. We were all a bit tired I think. Made for everything to be soooo funny!

*Friday night was Tori's junior Homecoming. She asked me to come and do Her and Jessica's makeup. *insert awww here* I had fun. I'm always excited when she wants to include me, being the step-mom and all.

*Saturday Bill and I decided to finally paint the living room/hallway to upstairs. Needless to say I had violent dreams of Aquafresh attacking me. I hate the color or the living room and Bill hates the color or the hall. Since I seem to be the painter in this family, it's staying. LOL until I get irritated enough to change it.
I also re-did my picture wall. Looks much better and thanks to my Dad I put velcro on the back sides of everything to keep it straight! Hooray no more OCD on the pictures.

*Libby got her first bath this weekend, you can tell by the pictures she wasnt too happy. She was also a freezing dog. So this was too funny to pass up. To end the weekend we carved pumpkins yay!

Hi everyone!

I know it's been a long while since I've blogged. I've spoken to most of you and the wedding went well! We all had such a great time. I am now the new Mrs. C! or Chez to you :O I've uploaded some pictures to my myspace profile for everyone to view.

*I am meeting MJ for dinner sometime this week while She and Dan are in D.C. yay for whores.

*I signed up for a Marah Johnson class being taught at my LSS. I am so stoked about it! I wish my Mom lived closer.

*I am going back to work tomorrow. I tell ya there is nothing like being off for two weeks to make you wish you were a millionaire.

*We added a new Chez to the group. Her name is Lunchbox Libby. We adopted her from the SPCA this past week. She is such a lover! She is bulldog/boxer mix. She is adjusting well to life in a happy home.

*And of course I scrapped (OMG!) The first LO is of Me and my sister Savannah. The 2ND LO is for this weeks challenge on One Little Word. I am so loving that blog, thanks to Cathy for spreading the word about it.

It's 11:24pm, we are leaving the house at 4am to get to the airport parking lot then shuttling to the airport. We have been made people packing. I don't know why, but I ALWAYS wait until the final hour to pack, then I over pack. Which we both did. We both have 2 checked bags each, 1 carry on and 1 very large wedding dress carry-on lol! I packed 7 pairs of high heals and one pair of flip-flops. How awesome is that? This is why I flipping love Vegas. I get to dress up every night. I miss that about LA I dressed up a lot more to go to dinner and out on the weekends. Here in Maryland they could give a crap. It's weird. Anyhow, I am so taking my laptop of course and I'll be checking in. I'll probably upload some pics in my downtime between fun. ugh..that's how I feel right now. So much has been going on in the past two weeks or so. I am so thankful that I am on vacation!! So the haps the past few days.

*I went to the LSS yesterday and did a cool make and take and learned some new ish while I was there. I had a good time. Ended up spending way too much cash-o-la of course and made this when I got home..

*The whores are in California and I am so bummed. They seem to be having a great time. I can't wait for the expo next year!

*Bill's family had a sending off pre-wedding celebration for us Friday night. I actually had quite a good time and drank some vino for the first time since quitting smoking. I was suprised that I didn't have a hang over yesterday.

*So yesterday Bill took Tori to get her learners permit. They sat at DMV for like 4 hours only to be told she couldn't get it without some sort of note from school. She was a tad upset last night.

*We leave for Vegas on Thursday. I am so excited to see my friends and family that I haven't seen in forever! I don't know what's more exciting the fact that I am on vacation for two whole weeks, that I get to go to Vegas, that I get to see my WHOLE family or that I am getting married in 7 days. It's quite a toss up lol.

I just got an e-mail today that my laptop won't ship until October 15th and will get her arround the 29th. BOOOO!!! That's like a whole MONTH stuck in the man room using Bill's pc. YUCK!

Well I should say in the past two weeks. I have been hella busy with work, home and the wedding. Which the wedding is so very soon! I'll just bullet point the highlights.

*Trying to make all last minute arrangements for the wedding. The bestman is still MIA and I am about to rip his head off. I have been seriously calm about the whole wedding. I really could give a shit if he is even there, except for that would hurt Bill's feelings. This is why I hate him so.

*My laptop went crap-o-la so I bought a new one. Should be here within the week. It's kelly green, yay!

*We got a NikonD40 this past weekend. We so shouldn't have but we got such a deal it on we just had to. I know we shouldn't have spent the money, but I am so excited tohave it for the wedding. We have all been out playing with it and got some great shots!

Today I wanted to kill the Asian. He got lost driving the 2.2 miles from Target, to Giant. It took him an HOUR AND FORTY-FIVE minutes to get there. WTF is all I can say. So I got that off of my chest. On to better things.

My Aunt Rainie called me today. I haven't spoken to her in like 7ish years or so? If you know my family drama then you know why. Anyhow, she is coming to my wedding! Apparently my Grandmother and my other Aunt Tami might come too! I am so way excited about that. I miss my family. Meaning my family that I grew up with. It's only 4 weeks to the wedding! The only bad thing is that there is going to be so many people there that I don't see all the time I am going to be wasted tired just trying to give everyone some of ME! lol

Another happy note. I bought a heat gun today!!! I so busted April's ish out to play with and I must say, WAY COOL! Check it out.

I have to tell you. Yesterday was such a great Monday! I mean most of us are cranky and a bit tired on Mondays. Work went well. I've been training again this week. New sales rep, so that's always interesting. I did sell some extra stuff, so that all went well. I came home to not 1, but 2! Whore presents. Not a WTF swap either. Kristi had sent the buy-in of time cards (way cool!) and April sent me some embossing powder. I've been thinking about trying my hadn at that. I got a coupon yesterday too. It must be fate I tell ya!

When I signed onto the Whore's group we all decided to have a virtual crop last night. I've never done that before and I thought it would be super fun. I made Bill dinner and set him down for football and I signed in. I must say, it was a laugh RIOT! I did no scrapping of course, but it was so fun to chat with Marie, Ang, JT (LOL) and April. I've never chatted with them before. Way funny! I did manage to come up with my "item" for the felt challenge. I'm going to try and make one of these shapes. Toodles!

My weekend

I have been a slacker the entire weekend. I hurt my back Friday at work and had no motivation to do anything. I just realized I haven't been outside all weekend until I took the trash out tonight. How scary is that? At least when I was smoking I would go outside for that. Some highlights of the weekend.

1. I added shelves and re-organized my scraproom. I'm pretty happy with it. That meant I scrapped. I also got my new hugeee scanner working YAY! Here's the LO I did this weekend. I was really trying to step outside of my "norm" I like it, but I still look at it like "I did that?" I don't know. I'm a weirdo.

2. Deah and I talked on the phone for 2 1/2 hours!!! I haven't done that since high school. It was so teenage-ish, but it was fun. Kelly of course had to sign into yahoo and make us laugh so hard I couldn't breathe.

3. It's football time! The Chargers won!! Kansas City and Oakland lost that made it even better. Denver barely pulled it out in the end, so I am feeling pretty good about my boys! I am also holding my own still in fantasy football. I have 3 players tomorrow night, so we will see how it shakes out.

4. I made paper flowers today. They came out so awesome! I hadn't thought of them being archival safe, but I really don't care! So cute.
